Our Story
Fast Turn Fittings didn't start in a boardroom. It started in a Richmond, Virginia garage in 2010 when Chris Bishop — the founder of Japanese Classics — was importing cars from Japan and kept running into the same issue on every car that came off the container: rusted, mismatched, or missing hardware.
So he started replacing the old hardware himself with titanium. What began as a fix for his own import business grew into something enthusiasts across the country started asking for by name — the original Dress Up Bolts.
In 2017, I took over the company with a simple goal: keep the quality that built the reputation, and push the business forward on the things enthusiasts actually care about — faster fulfillment, broader vehicle coverage, and a deeper commitment to finish that holds up.
A New Name. A Sharper Mission.
In July 2025, Dress Up Bolts became Fast Turn Fittings. The name change wasn't cosmetic — it reflected what the business had grown into, and where we wanted to take it next.
Alongside the rebrand, we rolled out a 48-hour fulfillment commitment on in-stock hardware, expanded our vehicle-specific kit lineup, and doubled down on diversifying the product line to meet what the community has been asking for — more applications, more sizes, more finishes, and a faster path from "add to cart" to "installed on the car."
The reputation that built the company didn't change. The speed, the warranty, the product range — that all got better.
48-hour fulfillment on in-stock hardware — most orders ship the next business day.
Expanded product lineup — new vehicle applications, new sizes, and new finishes driven by community requests.
Build titanium hardware an enthusiast would actually want on their car — and back it with fulfillment and warranty that match the product quality.
Four Commitments. No Exceptions.
These aren't marketing promises. They're how we run the business every day — and the reason you can expect the same experience whether it's your first order or your fifteenth.
A Note From The Owner
I'm the kind of person who notices the one bolt that's a slightly different finish than the rest. That obsession is exactly why Fast Turn exists. Every kit starts because I wanted something done right on my own car and couldn't find it — or found it and wasn't happy with what showed up.
My name is on this company. If a kit doesn't meet the bar I'd set for my own build, it doesn't ship. I still do all the work on my own cars. I still think about this stuff on nights and weekends. That's not going to change.
We're small. We make mistakes sometimes. The difference is we own them, we change what needs changing, and we don't hide behind a large corporation. If something's wrong with your kit, that's on us to fix — and we will.
Built in Virginia. Shipped Worldwide.
Fast Turn Fittings is a US-owned, Virginia-based company. Every part of the business — from R&D and kit design to inventory management and order fulfillment — runs out of our Virginia operation.
That means when you place an order, it's picked, inspected, and packed by the same team that designed the kit. Not a third-party warehouse. Not a drop-shipper. The same people who know the product are the ones putting it in the box.
And even though we're based in Virginia, we ship to enthusiasts in all 50 states and across the globe.
R&D, kit design, inventory, and fulfillment — all handled by the same team, in the same Virginia operation.
Vehicle-Specific. Every Size Accounted For.
Before Fast Turn, replacing hardware on a build meant measuring every bolt, making lists, and hoping your local hardware store had something close. Tedious. Inconsistent. Almost always disappointing.
We built the alternative. Every kit is designed around the exact fasteners your car actually uses — the right diameters, pitches, and lengths. Seven finishes that still look the same a decade later. Installation diagrams included so nothing's a guess.
For the enthusiasts who'd rather measure themselves, we stock 90+ individual titanium hardware sizes from M5 through M12 — same Grade 5 titanium, same PVD finishes, same warranty.
