This M5 x 0.8 x 16mm Large Flange Rubber Well Nut is designed for applications where additional surface coverage and retention are needed compared to a standard well nut. The wider flange increases contact area at the mounting surface, helping prevent pull-through and providing a more secure seat during installation.
Unlike traditional metal fasteners, this well nut uses a rubber body that expands as the bolt is tightened, creating a vibration-dampened hold while protecting surrounding surfaces. The integrated M5 threaded insert provides consistent thread engagement and allows for straightforward installation and removal.
This large flange design offers increased stability over our standard M5 x 0.8 x 15mm rubber well nut, making it a better choice when added surface support is desired at the mounting point. As with all rubber-based hardware, this well nut is intended for low-temperature applications and should not be used in high-heat environments.
